'Cause 720x480 is more of a resolution for a tv and will stretch out alot of footage. 640x480 is much better suited for a MEP.Rider4Z wrote:DX gah! why would you wanna do that??NightlHlawk wrote:Also, quick change: Arashinome has convinced me to change the resolution to 640x480.
Sorry if this inconveniences anyone, though I don't see how it would this early.

not if people export it right. keeping it at 640x480 cuts off A LOT of footageArashinomeAMV wrote:'Cause 720x480 is more of a resolution for a tv and will stretch out alot of footage. 640x480 is much better suited for a MEP.Rider4Z wrote:DX gah! why would you wanna do that??NightlHlawk wrote:Also, quick change: Arashinome has convinced me to change the resolution to 640x480.

lol it doesn't cut off any footage genius, making it 720 x 480 stretches it, because it is not 4:3 on a computer. Do your research, and don't fight joey on this, because you WILL lose.Rider4Z wrote:not if people export it right. keeping it at 640x480 cuts off A LOT of footageArashinomeAMV wrote:'Cause 720x480 is more of a resolution for a tv and will stretch out alot of footage. 640x480 is much better suited for a MEP.Rider4Z wrote:DX gah! why would you wanna do that??NightlHlawk wrote:Also, quick change: Arashinome has convinced me to change the resolution to 640x480.

...i'm not going to even respond to such a childish remark. this isn't a competition einstein.OnyX DragoN wrote:lol it doesn't cut off any footage genius, making it 720 x 480 stretches it, because it is not 4:3 on a computer. Do your research, and don't fight joey on this, because you WILL lose.

all fullscreen footage has a ratio of 720x480, but tv screens crop the sides off. it's clearly apparent when you view it in (at least) Premiere. it's not being stretched but almost looks close to being in widescreen. i'll try to get some screen shots of what i'm talking about when i get a chance.
in then end if it's all exported right, it won't be stretched.
and onyx, if you don't have anything useful to say then i'd prefer you didn't reply back to me.
