Don't forget you can use Adjust => Levels under video effects in adobe instead of doing grayscale. I don't know what the variant is in vegas or other editing programs though but its better for correcting a scene that focuses too much on blue because you can just lower the blue setting in levels instead of diming the clip to a gray/blackish color.

First of all, let me apologize for my lack of activity in beta reviewing. I have a very difficult (senior) semester at college, and my time that isn't involved with that has been dedicated with other projects I'm trying to finish.

Next, I have my fourth (and hopefully final!) beta for the MEP. The blurs have been removed to improve quality and editing. You should all have it in the next hour or so.

Don't worry Code, I understand you :P you almsot finished your track anyway

MelyoraMel: please don't forget to you resize your part to 848x480

Edit:
Fadingsundown: actually, it is not necessary to leave the background of the last scene black, it looks good if I just simply fade it (it seems like the dark parts fade before the light ones) but I think that you should change the first scene, because it doesn't really fit :P and maybe you should leave a scene that I can mask for transition? <-- what do you think about this everyone?

Code: why is the first scene lighter? since Tritio's part ends with dark anyway, and maybe I can make a mask transition? also there's still a flash that's not so necessary at 0:19 :P otherwise I don't really have problems I think, maybe you could reduce the strength of the flashes a bit, but your track is really nice

Re: Groove Coverage MEP (7/11 FINALS RECEIVED!)

Tritio asked me to make the first scene lighter. Should I disregard this? And the thing at :19 isn't a flash. It's the footage of the swords clashing. Should I take that out and just move it forward a bit? And I'll work on the flashes a bit.

EDIT: How do ya'll like it without the blurring? I'm moderately freaking out without them. :uhoh:

Code: oh, but still, I think it's nicer to leave it naturally as it is, or what did you want to do with it Tritio?

it would be nice if you tried to cut the flash of the swords then, and okay

hmmmmmmm I like both versions, with and without blur as well, but maybe 0:04 seems a bit.....rough? and maybe some other zooms after that :P

Code:
I think with the blur the beats are emphasized more but without the blurs, the track looks smoother. It's up to you whichever you want to go with, personally I felt they were both good although for me I prefer it being smoother. :P

Mystyk:
I think it'll look good with the mask or if I can find time today I'll try and show you an example of what I meant by the film effect. XD

Oh.. we're reaching the final flag :)

I'm considering making a little change in my part. But that will be possible once the next week passes. If I feel like the change should be made I will just bring a beta. It's just a minus that nobody will even detect I changed something :awesome:
