Deuce, I have Captpan6's clip as well as the Chobits clip ready to post as DVs, but I was given some emergency animation work. I have to finish 8 animations by tomorrow. I want to give a heads up, they're almost ready to post, so I just wanted to let you know before you started on the next beta. Sorry, I'll get them up before I go to sleep, this is just the first work I've gotten in a month and I need the money ^^

And thanks for letting me do the Stein clip, it'll take a while, but I really want to do it. Miko seems to like the Hetalia idea as well, that one should be fast if I work with her since she knows the footage so well, would you like me to move ahead with that one? We have so many kid and girl-related Hetalia clips, I kinda wanna hear one where they're cussing at each other ^^ I'll be the men in the audience would get a hoot from it ^^ What do you think, shall we move ahead with both? They'll both be post-AMA of course, hopefully next week if I'm really lucky with the footage. If I can't get them close to done by the 20th, I'll nix them. We have until the 24th. I don't want to cut it that close, though.

Oh, and yes, sorry to say, I think the text across the screen will draw everyone's attention away from the joke. If you want to try something though that won't hurt the joke, when he says "SH**" there are two mouth poses for it, half-closed and fully open. You could try an experiment and cut to a screen with "AMVS6 2012" immediately after the last frame where his mouth is halfway open. Get what I mean? I honestly can't say if this'll work or not, but it's worth trying since it's easy to do. Basically it COULD give the impression that the AMVS6 screen is a censor as well. Again, this may or may not work, but I think it's the best of both worlds. It may need some adjustment to make sure the 'sh' noise is exactly on that mouth movement to make this work, but that's easy. Would you like to try that in the next beta?

I think I know what you're saying and I can try it.
I was hoping to have a beta done before turning in tonight but I shoulda known better. :P
I think there's enough time for me to whip up the final beta / credits between Thursday and Friday since the screening isn't until Saturday and I'm bringing my computer to the hotel.
And go forth with the Hetalia stuff, young man...

I sent Deuce a more synced up version of How To Train Your Dragon Monday, actually. I did some work on Star Trekin' too, although it's still not as good as I'd like it to be, I did fix the biggest area at the "it's gonna blow" part at the end and also added in the explosion noise from the other clips.

Miko! Waaay back when like, beta number 1 came out I said that the It's a Small World one was one of my favorites from this. The prostitute hippo is also one of my favorites (I did, in fact, laugh out loud at it).

I'm hoping the robot unicorn one doesn't miserably fail. I THINK it'll be ok since only having one isn't total overkill like in Hell. And like you said, it's been a full year since Hell. Even if they initially groan, I'm hoping the ending will still make them laugh.

I definitely think that overall this year's is a lot more solid over all. And just think, you were worried we might not have ENOUGH clips :asd:

Okay, sorry for delaying you, Deuce. I had to get a chunk taken out of these animations before tomorrow.

Here are the two clips.

Oh my god...that Chobits one is HYSTERICAL!

Honestly not sure I like the Haruhi one though. My reaction to it can best be summed up as O_o

Hehehe, I do believe that one will have to be VERY strategically placed. We'll see if it even works. The Nagato going "FUCK YOU!" worked last year. That's the same guy. I'm personally a massive fan of his youtube poop work. Last year's is more conducive to a general audience. This one's definitely more of a test. I figured at the very least it wouldn't hurt to try it.

Any ideas on where you'd like these clips placed?
Tell you what...look at this render and choose your spot.
I think it looks a lot more solid now. ;)
I'll write out the credits and put them together tonight unless there are more placement suggestions.

And If you all haven't done so already I NEED your clip info!
I *think* I've identified them all but wanna be sure...

I agree, this one is the best yet. The grouping of clips I thought was kind of odd but that's it. ^_^

And I love the AMVS6 Preview at the end

Yeah...the grouping is to avoid putting same anime next to each other or too close together as well as spacing out the longest and shortest clips, not to mention the explosions.
It was much more difficult to do this year.
So much Hetalia and Sailor moon... ;)

This order was GREAT. irl applauding at the end.

I also really didn't mean to push for the small world clip - I just was wondering why it wasn't there when it didn't seem like people were talking about scrapping it. (Actually, if you're overloaded on Hetalia clips, I really wouldn't mind scrapping the Happy Meal one unless there's a way to tie it into the title more. Seeing it in context of everything else I'm like ... meh. If you like it though, by all means keep it.)
