Well, I've got a couple of clips I want to submit, but every time I try to connect to the ftp server, my client tell me this:

Status: Connecting to zarxrax.kicks-ass.net:8882 ...
Status: Connected with zarxrax.kicks-ass.net:8882. Waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 Gene6 FTP Server v3.8.0 (Build 34) ready...
Command: USER hell4upload
Error: Disconnected from server
Error: Unable to connect!

I don't have any trouble with other ftp servers.

Ummm... Please help?

Are there any other possibilities for submitting videos than the ftp? I've tried all I can think of but it still doens't seem to work.

ftp> open zarxrax.kicks-ass.net 8882
Connected to zarxrax.kicks-ass.net.
220 Gene6 FTP Server v3.8.0 (Build 34) ready...
User (zarxrax.kicks-ass.net:(none)): user hell4upload
331 Password required for user hell4upload.
Password:

(use mkdir to make a directory and put to upload a file.)

If connecting works: use a different client
if it fails: check your firewall / norton junk / etc.

I uploaded one of my vids fine, but the second one keeps getting "critical transfer errors." It uploaded 441,679 bytes out of 266,024,960 bytes then just... stopped. I've tried uploading again and it gives me the option to overwrite the previous file, then promptly gives me the error again. Perhaps it's too big? Should I upload the XviD version instead of the HuffyYUV just so you guys can check it out and decide if you like it?

PS. I'm going straight to hell for this second vid. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200$.

I swear though, if you hadn't been so insistent upon this, it wouldn't be happening :)

Finally I get to play with the other AMV Hell kids!

I just finished AMV Hell 3.14, which started back in September 06. It will be shown at Otakon during the "fan-produced" video event. It runs 18:26 in length. Hopefully, there won't be any technical garbage which would make this collaboration "unviewable" or anything.

Anyway, I have a few clips to contribute which I forgot to throw into 3.14. I can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Cheers!
