I can't say I did a lot better, but I hope this at least has some improvement. First experiments of making a nicely flowing purrfect mix...........failed....bad.
This one is more lyric-oriented and the complete lyrics can also be found at http://fjc.no-ip.org/nightmix_foxedit_lyrics.txt
I had to leave out "End of All Hope" since it was a pain for me to get it in. I added Sleeping Sun and Lappi(Lapland) as a credit track. Even then this one is a minute shorter than the first one by OtakuForLife. My first versions had long transitions but in the end I ended up making a lot of fast transitions since I thought I could do it better and the transitions with videos might be easier to do this way.
If you have any thoughts nows the time to tell. I think the very first part "Crimson Tide Deep Blue Sea" could be easily left out too and start the whole thing with "the Kinslayer". With that (and End of All Hope left out) there would be only 2 tracks that were mp3's. All others are now from original CDs and good quality. I have both the wav-compile and high rate mp3 ready for OtakuForLife to use.

Some of those transitions are pretty good, like the one from 10th Man Down to Moondance and then to Astral Romance. Other's are rougher, like the transition to Wishmaster (it's going to be next to impossible to transition to the opening of Wishmaster).

Some of the segments could probably stand to be shorter, too.

I liked it alot, but some of the transitions need work. Some are too fast, others too slow

First I had Wishmaster where Moondance is now and it worked well. Then the artistic asshole evil consience used the spell of lunacy and I moved it away where it doesn't work at all.. Go me \^^/
Actually I think the fast transition with Wismaster's opening could be done quite easily. It's just a matter of finding a good spot to suddenly change to it.

Segment duration is also a small problem. Others are way over a minute (Over the Hills) while others are half a minute (Moondance) now.

Remeber these are rough cuts it takes several trys to make a good
Audio mix. Rem sleep took three, anyway it's coming along some
of the phades are too long while other ones sound about right.
over all better then mine. Remeber that thier changing styles alot
so this is no easy task. Also, I like the opening of wishmaster
being abrupt. I also, love the idea of putting over the hills, next
to wanderlust (if the tranistion was smoother, the fade is too long).
What are using for audio mixing cuase I can get you a "free copy" of acid works by sonic foundry. I'm so going to have an airy sentimental
peice for this ending, unless you want the ending due to it being
the song you suggested. Sorry about not responding sooner this week
has been pretty nutz. Reminder take your time it dosn't even have a
due date yet "it is but a pebble which will become a mighty bulder".

..and translation to non-finnish-speaking people.. she asked how's it going with the project and I answered that it's going ok, but not great.

I'm going to give it a second try. Fix some things mentioned and see if I can finetune some parts to sound better. I think I'll try different approach with wishmaster and look into some of the long transitions. I won't touch Moondance->OvertheHills since I think it's good that way. I'll cut out the very first part and start the whole thing with "the Kinslayer". Please do mention if there is a certain transition that doesn't feel right at all, so that I can focus on that part. Remember that I can't recognize notes even if my life'd depend on it.
Vivi-mage: It's better not to make any drastic changes about which songs to include anymore. It's hard enough for me already as it is.
