Hey Guys...
Mike will most likely be posting in here soon, but just to clarify a couple of things....
1) Sorry about the long wait, which seems to be characteristic of these projects of mine...but VegettoEX has been really busy and has been unable to help me out. As my techie I couldnt move without him. He e-mailed me today, and we are going from here.
2) No song has been picked yet, but we haven't forgotten about it. Trust me. Any suggestions are -still- welcome
3) Any suggestion about Mike not being allowed in the project is incorrect. He is most definitely a big part of this, as are all the editors
Any questions or comments regarding Project D2 can be forwarded to my e-mail address dbz_doomrider@hotmail.com
Thanks for your patience, and I am still here to contact.

Just gonna chime in here real quick. I can confirm that, yes, editors WILL be given their footage taken directly from our copy of the anamorphic, widescreen, remastered Japanese DragonBox DVD Movie boxset (there's a mouth full!) release. Exciting!narutoball wrote:sweet. doomrider is vegettoex still sending out the movies on a disc or not?
What does this mean? It means not having to work with the cruddy-looking domestic DVD releases of the movies, which is always nice. The imports are ridiculously clean looking, so working with the footage should be a blast. (if anyone's interested, I have some screencaps from Movie 13 from the DragonBox up on my site if you wanna get an idea of how good the movies look. Granted, these images went through some AVS-scripting, but since the footage used in the AMVs will also go through the same process, expect things to look kinda like this).
So yeah, very clean, very crisp, and very much worthy of wetting one's pants.

I'm not gonna presume to speak on behalf of the coordinators, but I'm gonna guess.... actually, nah, I'm not gonna guess anything. I was going to say I assumed the tracks would be given to editors as raw VOBs ripped from the DVDs, but hell, who knows, maybe they'll go the route of doing all the cleanup before-hand, so the footage is standardized, and give all the editors cleaned up Huffy AVIs.Greek Prince wrote:They look good, it's nice to work with some high quality DBZ footage. So i'm guessing we wont need to add AVS scripts to our individual tracks.
Then again, I'm not a coordinator, so I'll stop talking out of my ass. I'll just complicate things by making assumptions.

The footage is so good that it looks like scans from a book.MeriC wrote:Just gonna chime in here real quick.
