Hmm, 720x480 automatically causes letterboxes, so don't worry about that anymore - just use 720x480 and no other.

I see, well, i don't know how .mov files work under my Vegas. I'll try the thing out with your .mov beta and we will see how it turns out. If it isn't good, a very high quality xvid or divx would also do the work - i hope ^^

I think, that you can direct load .mov into VDM and put out an Lagarith-avi.
Or build up a .avs-script for the job with the commandline DirectShowSource.
Well... You can surely load it into Vegas with the script and an VFAPI - fake avi. I don´t recommend this. Things like that are often lame on my system and I have a pretty good one.

Just try to compress into Lagartih extern.

I'll try it out, when Greggus1 sends me his first beta.
To Greggus1 - just get the video quality as high as you can, file size doesn't matter now.

I think I'm going to start editing tonight, which means I should be done editing within the next few days. I've realized that no matter what kind of video I'm doing, I always edit really quickly. And considering this is only ~20 seconds' worth...

I don't know why you placed an ":/" at the end of your post :D
It isn't a problem if you do it fast or finish early.

:/ is my favorite emoticon :P

As a matter of fact, after roughly three or four hours of editing tonight, I'm almost done. I have maybe six seconds left.

Yay, go me.
