Im usually off on the weekends but sometimes other things come up or
I get a call from my job.(they love to spoil my fun)
I do stock and sometimes get different shifts like having to close ~_~

Same here. My work schedule is different every week. :\ I could either be working from 6am - 2pm or 4:30pm - 10pmish CST on any given day...it's a pain not knowing when I'm going to be available. :p I'm sorry, Chii. >.> I'll do my best to make it, considering the fact that I already I missed the first two.

Anyway, everyone's schedule is different so i guess its impossible for us to decide on a date as a group, sooo.. i propose that the next beta discussion will be held Friday, May 30th at 3:30 PM PDT. If you know you can't make it ahead of time, PM me. Do NOT post in this thread or IM me about it. Remember, please tell me as early as possible. I'll start getting pissed off at people who tell me last minute or don't show up without telling me.

Sorreh Yue i know you'll be gone but i need to give people at least a month's notice Dx mebbe next time

If this date doesnt work for too many people, then we can propose a different one.

I can't promise anything (especially since its on friday) but i'll try my best to be there this time and i'll be sure to let you know ahead of time if there is a problem.

Thats been happening alot with me lately ^^:;

Video Progress:
Thought id post about how my vids goining since i haven't really been
saying anything about it.
Like i said in my journal, im working on it now
The way its going right now, im not 100% sure it will be ready this week
but I should have alot done.
Some changes are

1: don't worry about that intro
it was scrapped a LONG time back.
That was really just thrown in to get a start on the video.
The new version will have a differen't anime at the beginning and
it won't go so fast.

2: The old school sources will be removed
Still think it sucks that I can't use the older anime but
I know what you mean about the clashing with new sources.

3: There will probably be some more FSN thrown in it ^_^

4: I got lots of new sources now so there will be an even larger variety mixed in.
My main goal with it is was for the video to go through without repeating any anime
but that turned out to be more dificult than i thought
All the DVD rips have filled up my 500 gig HD
and my 400 gig one only has like 5 gigs left >_<
Anyone have a spare HD laying around?

Im probably gonna forget that ideal and just use some sources again if needed.
Thats the main reason why my track isn't already finished.
We will see how it goes.

5: I'll avoid throwning the wiggle snake in there.

Theres gonna be some mixing up though.

Im not sure if I already mentioned this but I don't plan on using
any special effects in the video.(well, maybe a fade)

The only thing i have is the editor's built in effects anyway.

I actually wanna try to completely finish this video pretty soon
cause if it keeps going on, its gonna interfere with me running WFAT, MM & OSAS
This MEP is getting my higher priority right now.

BTW every once in a while my DVD drive makes loud clicking sounds
usually when it does that, its ripping speed will drop to below 1x and then start to rise up eventually.
It will do that on brand new DVDs
Does that mean its dying?
Is it gonna be in DVD drive heaven soon?

Could be a voltage problem (device reaches top speeds and becomes underpowered), could be the program your using, or it could be the drive needs cleaning, or lastly the drive is dieing.

I've never had a CD drive fail on me though, I'm guessing that its a rare problem >_>.

Might be a good time to consider an upgrade

Yeah, im gonna have to do some upgrading soon
My comp is pretty outdated right now ^^;
Its been handling most jobs though.

Thats the first time i've had a drive make clicking sounds.
This is the exact model I have.

I shouldn't be failing since its only like 6 months old
probably need to go for a better brand like Lite On or something.
I'll check to see if it just needs cleaning or has any of those other problems you mentioned.
