Well, the renaming and deleting part are right. If you'd have the rights to do that, anyone could delete the vids. So that's not a problem on your part.. the reason that you couldn't continue is, i think, that explorer doesn't support resume and wants to delete the file first. Ofcourse you get the same error as when you tried to delete it.

Try SmartFTP. I've found it to be a great program that's easy to use. There's been a few connection issues, but I think that may be due to the amount of action the amvhell server is seeing right now as opposed to software problems.

I can get into the folder and I was able to start uploading the video but then it stopped uploading a quarter of the way through. I tried to re-upload but now it says I have no uploading permissions. I tried to delete the partially uploaded video and it says I have no deleting permissions.

I thought maybe my connection was weird so I tried another source and still no luck.

Any ideas? Should I just try to mail it to someone? Put it up on my own webspace and direct the bosses to it?

To everyone having connection problems: If you can host the file on your own space and email me a link thats fine too. I don't know why some people have problems and others don't...

And Done with my last amv! I'm surprised I was able to finish it before the deadline (work). Hopefully the list will be updated this weekend. I'll need a little bit of happiness from me working way too much

I keep telling myself, "This is my last AMV Hell submission!" and then my brain refuses to stop trying to come up with ideas.

Much to Zarxrax's chagrin, I'm sure.

It probably won't stop doing that until August 2nd.

sweet! another AMV hell? and theres still time for me to enter something too?! *does happy dance*
Luckily I have some short videos made up right now that I can give you (that haven't been posted anywhere). They probabily aren't as good as some of the others in the past, but i'm sure theres something you guys might like.

And if I have any time after when I get back from the Anime Expo, then i'll work on some the other short AMVs I have in mind for this.......

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'll try again tonight, and if all else fails, I'll try to upload to my webspace (but even that is being stubborn... why!?!)

Hey Zaxrax, this is a bit off topic, but since I can't download the DVD ISO of the previous AMV Hells, because of the Fat32 I'm stuck with here, was there anything special about the "added material" that was on the DVD? Any chance of getting it elsewhere, as I can always make my own DVDs (done it many times).

Oh yea, should have a vid or two uploaded by this weekend

There's an AMV here on the org with that setup. I watched it and deleted it, and don't remember it's name, but it's there.
