Re: A Very Cascada Christmas : [Beta Deadline 12/18]
Madara, yours is so stinking cute! :3
2 things I'm concerned about.
1) PLEASE remember to render this out as 848x480. I hate having to do resizes after the fact and trying to preserve that A:R.
2) :20 lip flap ; :02-:03 bench orphan frame ; :16-:18 lot of scene movement
Other than those few minor things, just listen up to Aimo, Tritio, and others for advice. Love where it went.
Also, yay Aimo! :3

Sorry madara, bro I will review your clip once I've comen from an anime festival celebreated today
Code, I'll have to make the fixes of my part tomorrow so please list all the points you consider should be gone in the next version. I just have less than 4 days before changing the memory and the RAM of this laptop, so I should be done with the final in 4 days

Personally, Tritio, I think the only thing that needs changing is the scene at :12-:13 with the TV, but if you like it, I'll be fine with you keeping it.
Oh, and PLEASE do not forget the 3 seconds of footage before/after your AMV. That's the only other thing I didn't notice it having.

madara, bro, in your case the track follows the way it should be, but agreed with Code; I noticed something weird at 0:20, Also just make a reduction in the second 3, it's like in the timeline you left for too much time that scene. After 0:20 I dunno why I felt it kinda slow :O

I personally say that it's good to go.
I'd give it a day or so to listen up if aimo/hitori have any last minute advice, but if you hit the time where you need to take your computer down for upgrades, go ahead and render me out a final beforehand and upload it. Because I'd rather not risk losing that track. xD
EDIT: Fay-Sa and Aimo both also contacted me beforehand, so their missing of the beta deadline is fine. They both should have betas ready to go shortly.

Re: A Very Cascada Christmas : [Final Deadline 12/21]
Madara: It's really nice so far. The scene at 0:04 seems to come in a little late though because the pinky promise scene was synced to "heart" but when she sings "but the very" it's still that same scene. I'm also not too fond of the scene at 0:07 where she's kinda charging towards him. I think 0:15 at the end of "special" will look nice with a black fade out before black fading into the next scene. I think the zoom at 0:20 into her face doesn't need the radial blur. 0:22 also comes in a little late if you're doing lyric sync with "this year". Try having the first doll scene fade into the second doll scene at "this". Also I'm not too sure about the one with the bag/zoom at 0:26, just don't really like it. XD And this lastly:
Tritio:
Also the mask transition mentioned at 0:13....rather than slide it out, have you considered just leaving it to fade into the next scene instead? I mean it already has a zoom in, so letting it fade gently(maybe with some light blur) into the shop scene will look better than a random slide out.
Should maybe remove/shorten those crossfades so the movement isn't hugely noticeable.CodeZTM wrote::16-:18 lot of scene movement
Tritio:
This is what I'll still suggest. However if you don't want to change anything it's fine. I will definitely RECOMMEND checking the mask at 0:14ish when she looks up though because I'm seeing some glitchyness. And also the feathering of the masks around 0:15/0:16 with the boy.(Just the first two, the third one at 0:17 is fine.)AimoAio wrote:I don't think the mask fits very well either. Your flash at 0:06 was kinda sharp, you should make it longer and smoother so it flows better into the next scene. The memory/flashback sequence was nice but it felt a little still, so you could try adding some light camera movements to them? Same for the ones at 0:13-end.CodeZTM wrote: 1) Watermark at :13. Speaking of which, I feel like something else might fit better here. It's a cute mask/transitions, but I just feel like something else could go there that's more in line with the story that you were telling.
