Everything I'm doing is just minor tweaks (except lucky star), so it won't take too horribly long.

Also, i'm not gonna lie, but i found it quite... average. Some part HAVE to be improved. Lucky star was totally unneeded, especially those scenes, and same goes for Haruhi. Also Elfen Lied needed some more... dunno lol.

Which is exactly why I'm re-editing those tracks [see my reactions above].

I quickly realized that the editing and footage didn't match the rest of the project in the "horror" genre, which is why swappings are now occuring.

Butt I will change things around a bit for the sake of flow in the Elfin Lied track..

NGL, some of the tracks made me go WTF. Not so much in the editing area (I refuse to judge that at the moment), but just theme wise. Why am I seeing happy upbeat tracks for Thriller? Hasteroth sent me his beta for the spot that was empty a while back. Editing was decent, but I'm wondering if the fact that Thriller is a horror song is lost on everyone involved.

Mind you, some people utilized the dancing aspect of the song very very well (no names, but I think we all know who)

So I highly recommend everyone look over what they sent in. I'm glad watching the entire thing is making people realize their faults in stylistic choices. And I say this especially to the crowd that just handed it in quickly, claiming to have it finished "in 10-20 minutes". If you want quality, boys, you're going to have to work for it. Don't send in crap.

But I do have to say congratulations to Kenzichu. You got an MEP done and people thought it was never going to happen. Good on you.

Why am I seeing happy upbeat tracks for Thriller?

Mostly because when I saw the roughest beta of the project, Higurashi was happyish towards the beginning, and I thought that perhaps other people were doing happy stuff too.

Nuh-uh...

But yeah, more horror and gore coming my time.

So, let me start my job as a beta tester.

1st track: Great. Nothing to complain here.

2nd track: That was great too. Quite scary with a humouristic tone, just like it has to be.

3nd track: AWESOME beginning, but very soon i lost interest not only to that part itself, but to the whole MEP too. Definitely needed some more speed/more scenes.

4th track: Quite good scene selection (not perfect), but needed darker colours. And some borders would be nice too.

5th track: The one with Afro Samurai. This anime has many many more fitting scenes. I didn't like the gun-wielding scene, could have been changed with a more intense one.

6th track: Ok, here's where i totally lost interest in watching this MEP. That part of the song screams for Higurashi, for action, suspence, darkness, but... what did i just watch. Humour is totally accepted in this mep, but that was plain... bad. I would change everything in here except from the ending of it (needed some more editing there too.)

7th track: Chrono Crusade isn't it? Well, the idea behind this was very very nice, humour and action blended very nicely, but... something bothered me... i don't know what. That damn x-factor.

8th track: F@CK YES. That's what i wanted to see in here. Kudos to the editor.

9th track: Liked the first half more than the second one. That zoom you used wasn't good looking, but other than that, quite nice part.

10th track: The best part of this MEP. Loved it.

11th track: I hate 3d animation here. Also, too many flashes. And too much of that effect where the film seems old. Anyway, quite good.

12th track: Wtf did i just watch.

13th track: Another awesome part. With kewl zoom effect. I adored this.

14th track: Not - at - all. Sorry, but... not here, not now. Haruhi has many scenes that fit that song.

15th track: Very nice. Loved that "Darkness blah blah blah" part, though it could have been shortened. Overally nice. Very nice.

16th track: Same as the 14th track. I'd say we delete all the lucky star scenes of this MEP and have another anime instead.

17th track: Nothing to complain here, except from the part 5:21 to 5:22 - needs a smooth transition imo. Anyway, ice nice nice.

18th track: OMG YES YES YES HAADCOAH

@Animated: As I've stated twice now, Lucky Star is getting cut completely, as will Haurhi. Elfin Lied is being tweaked [I'll send you a beta of it tonight], as is Persona 3. TUYBW will be tweaked accordingly too.
