I really like the Ah! My Goddess idea, but I have no clue on the other one since I've never seen GTO, save for clips in various vids and a couple of times I was flipping through the stations and landed on Showtime (but the little I saw isn't enough to sway me one way or the other).Toji Fujawara wrote:damn took forever for me to decide weather or not i would be able to do this project/ and what track to do.

if you can tell me the cuts precisely, i can cut it from the album...Qyot27 wrote:Unfortunately AIM won't let me send anything anymore (probably because of my firewall and router setup). Would a 192kbps MP3 be fine? I can put that up on the backup site.Farlo wrote:send me a wav for "in the air tonight" via aim please(just the clip for the project)

Well, I cut it from the Greatest Hits, and it's the last 1:44, no editing inside of the clip, just through to the fade out. I don't know the exact place in the source wave, but if you feel like it, you can take your cue from where the preview track comes in. If you want a higher-quality version of the preview track to go from (or simply decode and edit with), this is the link to the backup page:Farlo wrote:if you can tell me the cuts precisely, i can cut it from the album...Qyot27 wrote:Unfortunately AIM won't let me send anything anymore (probably because of my firewall and router setup). Maybe we should make a second Betamax project with this.

Funny enough, I do have that CD. But, I think 3 hours of one 80s-based Betamax Project is enough. I do have three other follow-ups in planning, though, involving the music of the other decades that Betamax was actually used (the lifespan on Betamax was 1975-2002; I may extend the fourth project into 2003 because of 'residual popularity' and an excuse to include Kill Hannah, but I'm not quite sure). In any case, I am taking it one at a time, even if I am preparing the tracks for the next projects now.Daniel_BMS wrote:Maybe we should make a second Betamax project with this.

Actually on second thought, there are too many lousy tracks on that CD. What I was actually trying to say was it would be cool to do a project based on the shallower and more fun 80's songs.Qyot27 wrote:Funny enough, I do have that CD. As I also posted on the group e-mail, there is a problem with the FTP (I can't log into it). So disregard the FTP info there, and contact me directly and post on the group e-mail when you have a preview ready. I'll try to see if I can get an FTP set up behind my firewall but I don't know how well that will work.
