I'm kind of busy at the moment, but sometime between next week and christmas I'll get a new link or something.

I posted a beta of my track on the mailing list about a month ago... which is now totally outdated and I've been too lazy to finish the new version which is about 90% done

I've had a Jem and the Holograms AMV idea brewing for a while, and if its not due till summer, I might want to claim it here

If its not too late I just made a Captain Planet AMV to the law of ueki 2 days ago..if you still need something feel free to throw it in XD (i also uploaded it to local for your convenience!)

Shouldn't be a problem. No one claimed it and it would be a nice addition to the project. Although I'm not the Project leader :P

I checked it out, looked pretty decent. It worked. Needs less Divx logo and more deinterlacing though :P. And of course you'll have to ditch the misleading opening. There was someone who claimed the song originally, but said they were dropping out and Captain Planet was their only part in the project. So filling the hole with your amv doesn't seem like such a bad idea. Although I don't know if the fact that you've already released it independantly will have any effect on the decision whatever.

Basically just wait for a response here from The Wired Knight, or go make a post with your claims on the Yahoo Group that was made (several posts back). The way I see it, the more old cartoons we use, the greater the amount of people this will appeal to.

yea when I said you can use my video, youre only gonna use a small bit of it anyway right? So whichever part they wanna use is ok with me

As far as DIVX...

nothing I can do about that, I download the eps in that format

but im pretty sure the logo disappears if you like put it together with the other clips and encode it in some other format (ie xvid)

Sorry if i havent seen you video yet but if you used the ento to it we would most likely use the whole thing as that is the theme behind the project. If you used do=ibx to make the video and you exported it the logo is engraved in the video and the only way to remove it would be cropping. If the anime is already on dvd maybe someone could get you better footage if you werewilling to redo the video with better quality

The reason why I keep saying "College" is because since I'm graduating early, all the deadlines for submission for next year are like.. Right now. And I'm still looking at what I want to apply to. XD

But I graduate tech prep with distinction.. Ooo.

Erm I can't afford to buy like 10 DVDs lol...I've made these videos before and when I encoded with DIVX 5 I could re-encode into like DIVX3 and the divx logo would be gone. I've done it before so I'm pretty sure that's what would happen...however if it's really that much of a problem you don't have to use it ^^;
