There's a running gag in Combat Butler Hayate where, whenever they make areference to something in pop culture, they bleep out part of the name because they don't have permission to use the name.
Something like that could always be done as a gag in a clip as well.

Sadly, I didn't get accepted into this project. But it encouraged me. As of today I'll be active here on this site, I'm no AMV pro but I don't think I'm too bad.. I need to evolve from Windows Movie Maker, it's so limiting. If anyone could help me out with getting a new program and possibly helping me to learn how to use it. I'll put my more recent AMVs and my future AMVs on here. Until I get that done you can check my You tube, Profile there is Bitebug57 also. (It says I'm 25 but I'm really 18). Or you can wait until I get them here, I'll be getting on it right away.
Now to make a name for myself and put together a profile here..
Hopefully I'll continue improving until I can get into other group projects. Good luck to the rest of you.
Also.. Sorry if this post drifted off topic.. o.o

I've submitted three clips so far and all were turned down. But like you I found that to be encouraging, though in a different way.bitebug57 wrote:Sadly, I didn't get accepted into this project. But it encouraged me.
The first two clips I tried weren't much, but the third one I really worked hard on and I'm positive that it was funnier than at least 30% of the AMV Hell 3 clips. The fact that it was deleted along with my first two is actually encouraging because it proves that Hell 4 is being held to a much higher standard that Hell 3 and I can expect to see a very funny final product, whether I'm a part of it or not.
Anyway, I'm not going to be able to make any more attempts before the deadline, so I guess I'm out. Good luck to the rest of you!

I was wondering if any of the -apparently many- Haruhi submissions combined the dancing SOS Brigade with Elite Beat Agents (e.g. someone in a crisis yelling for help, Haruhi and co. dramatically arriving on the scene to cheer, rhythm markers on the screen as they dance, etc.)We DONT need any more:

I'd have liked to do this myself, but I lacked i) a copy of the game, ii) the necessary skill and iii) knowledge of Hare Hare Yukai until about a week ago.
A Hare Hare Yukai level in the Japanese version of EBA (Osu Tatakae Ouendan) would have been awesome, imo.

I find the bleeped-out, radio-friendly version of Adam Sandler's "Piece of Shit Car" way more hilarious than the original.usa mimi productions wrote:something like that yeah, strategically placed censor beeps are fun sometimes.
Of course, I'm mentally deranged in general, so there's no accounting for taste...
