AMV Heaven Vol. 2 (HD)

Based on the somewhat unfortunate timing of the first AMV Heaven forum post, PPNSteve and myself have decided to make a forum announcement calling for all entries well in advance. This will be our first project in High Definition, so keep that in mind as you submit your entries.

Here are the rules:

Resolution: 1280x720p H.264 (at least 8Mbit bitrate) or Lagarith

Framerate: 24p or 30p

Length: 1 minute or less

Audio types supported: RAW, PCM, MP2, VBR (192+) AAC or MP3, 48000hz sample rate

No H anime scenes or extreme gore will be allowed (Rated USA "R" or below)

The audio in your entries can be anything from TV commercials to Music (as long as it's tasteful).

Make sure your entries have NO subs or logos.

We will accept up to 4 entries per editor/group.

Please submit your entries using our Contact Us page: http://bccsproductions.com/index.php?id=contact (select AMV Heaven from the drop down box, then paste the link of the video in the comments section). Alternatively, you can PM me for entry submissions.

The deadline for entries is Jan. 1st, 2011.

1Jan2011 UPDATE:
We are now actively seeking submissions and clips. the best of the early submissions will get placement in the upcoming trailer as well, so get to making those awesome HD AMV shorts and submit now.

I am sorry to note that the deadline is over. I had wanted to participate in the event but I was busy with office work and so I forgot. Anyway I am happy to note that a lot of people took part in it. I hope that Steve will be publishing the results soon.
