Editing Style

This is a Halloween MEP, so I'm wanting to have fear/horror/darkness as being the main focus. So anime like Soul Eater, Madoka, Bakemongatari, High School of the Dead, ect are all welcome.

Anime such as Usagi Drop, Cardcaptor Sakura or Magical Sparkle Dance Parade are not welcome. [Unless you can REALLY pull that off ]

Style wise, you're free to edit however you want, but I want a slightly more upbeat pace [nice scene movement and action]. Effects are welcome.

Deadlines

Please try to meet the following deadlines!

October 14th: Beta Deadline [I want to see a rough draft of your ENTIRE track. Does not have to be completed style/editing wise. Just a general outline of what we can expect.]

October 28th: FINAL Deadline [I want your final video at this point.]

October 29th/30th: Full Video Compilation will be sent out to members. Reviews and requests for changes should be made at this point.

October 31st: Video Released

I have an idea for the 1st and last track using episode 9 of Dragon Crisis, but it would require everyone to send me footage from their show that relates to their video.

My idea is as follows:

For track 1, I could use eerie scenes of the house and the pictures on the wall. I would also casually introduce the man with the ax. Then I could mask out the glass in one of the mirrors and show short scenes from everyone's track (in order to give the impression that the characters in everyone's track are trapped in the mirror).

For the last track, I could show all the pictures on the wall, but mask them out and replace them with pictures of the characters from the previous tracks (in order to give the impression that no one was able to escape). Then I could end it by showing the scene from 13:58 - 14:00 to give the impression that everything is over.

I'm not 100% sure that everything will work like I planned, but I'm willing to give it a shot if everyone likes the idea. If not, then both tracks are completely up for grabs (I don't really have any other ideas).

What does everyone think?

I'm totally for it, and I sounds like a cute idea [as long as when you say track 2 you mean the last track]. I'll send out a pm and see if they're up for it when I get back from class.
