Old-School-TV Project

Post by The Wired Knight » Sat Apr 09, 2005 12:35 am

Ok this is something I started thinking about earlier today but I'm curiosu if there's enough interest in the project to merrit starting it. Basically a string of AMVs in a project, but all of them are edited parodies using anime to the opening themes of old TV shows. I found a lot of old themes here

http://www.fuggled.co.uk/Nostalgia/Songs.htm

And the idea of Hellsing to Count Duckula is way too tempting but I think it would be cool to see a whole project of these. So who would want to be in on something like this if I get it started?

BTW: If this gets off the ground I call Full Metal Alchemist - Inspector Gadget.

Oh dude, I could think of about four of them I want to do stuff to.

Puff The Magic Dragon to X (movie) is just

Transformers to Macross Plus (of course, not the Transformers theme on that site; I think it's the 2nd or 3rd season's theme that I want to use)

Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers to Gunsmith Cats or Dirty Pair (of course, it would require finding someone to lend me the footage)

Denver The Last Dinosaur to something, I wouldn't know what at the moment. I can probably get better mixes of this and Chip and Dale since I have really old VHS tapes of both of them that are still in really good condition.

If this thing gets off the ground, count me in.
