Villian Mep Offical Thread- Project Underway ^^

So, as I said I would,this is the Villian MEP signup. For this MEP, editors chose an anime villian and then use a song to match with that villains style. Its basically making character profiles for them. The villains should fall under one of the three catergories: Good turned Evil, Half Evil or Pure Evil. There will be spaces for 4 editors under each topic and its a first come, first serve basis. If you want to join but the list is full, I will place you as a backup editor. An intro, ending and 2 intermissions will also need to be done, so editors can do those as well. Sadly, I can only allow advanced programs into this project. As long as you have a very good understanding of the program, that will be fine.

NOTE-The introductions, intermissions and ending ARE OPEN for people to take. What you decide to do with it, just tell me and I'll give you my take on it.

When you chose a segment, make the video at the maximum 1:30. Sorry to say, but the parts should at least be 0:20, cause then it fits into the final project better and is not passed by quickly. Longer is better but I'm not going to stress 1:30 long pieces from people. The segments will be mixed together at the end by either me or one of my friends.(most likely me). The deadlines will be posted below, along with the editors who have joined as well as video information.

Sorry about there being no mix, thats for meps with a focus artist or idea. This MEP allows people to pick their song to fit their character(this will be mixed together at the end).

Is this coming up alot, I didnt know. This is the ones Im familar with. That, and the fact that my comp hates Xvid for some reason.

theres 2 problems with it.

never accept submission as divx/xvid
never mix allow mixed codec submissions. just have 1 standard.

divx is lossy, and since people will send it to you, you'de have to encode it a second time. thats alot unesassary quality loss.
also, editing programs are not happy when you feed them divx/xvid >:[

just accept huffy

I'll go for the good turned evil one. I picture Atemu under Oricalcos (sp?) as an example of good turned so bad ass evil. Or Zane from YGO G/X. Something like that. I'll come up with something. I'm also thinking of using that punk version of Poor Unfortunate Soul or just the original.

My mep accepts only Divx and Xvid ^_^
If encoded right they will still be high quality when they are converted.

Im too lazy to download a 1gb + video >_<
