Raiders of the Lost AMV's: (DEAD)

Okay, I fixed the download problem, and this project is a go!

Okay, based on what was discussed in the interest gauge, this is what we have:

A MEP of incomplete AMV's sitting on our harddrive collecting dust.
or
things that we started and just never will finish.

I think I will extend the week deadline for any editor that wants to take on the challenge of making the intro and outro.

I'll post the name of the editors in the order they sign up, not including the intro and outro, but may/may not be the actual order.

Now, here's some rules:

1.ORGABLE!!! I don't have hosting, so no hentai and other naughty stuff (but you can PM me that naughty stuff for my own viewing pleasure, but I can't include it in the MEP)

2. Any person is allowed to join, no matter what skill level you are. You can edit with WMM for all I care o.0

3. You have to had actually worked on it and just forgot about it or never had time to finish the AMV. It can't be just some random crap you threw together.

4. Codecs aren't required, but try to pick a standard codec if you choose to encode your vid for compression purposes, but for any WMM editors that may want to join, this isn't necessary.

5. It has to be at least 10 seconds, and less than 1:30. But try to give me stuff that's less than 60 seconds, but 1:30 is the absolute limit. NO EXCEPTIONS. In the case that the song is only about 1:30, the video still has to be incomplete.

6. Now I have a special request for the lucky editor who wants to take on the challenge of making the intro. It should have something to do with the title (which is a spoof off Raiders of the Lost Ark) so maybe have the Indiana Jones theme song playing in the background with the modified title or having an AMV box coming out of the ark or something. Be creative, I'll give you extra time for it ^^

7. I don't really care about the outro though, as long as it's creative ^^ You know me, I'm happy with anything.

8. You have a week to send in the video since all you have to do is render it. But if this is too rushed for you please let me know and I will give you as much time as you need. You'll find that I can be very reasonable (and God knows people have been reasonable with me)

9. There's no set aspect ratio since this is an imcomplete AMV MEP, but try to give me stuff that you would like shown and not just something random.

10. The whole point (this is true for my other MEP) is to have fun and there shouldn't be any pressure involved.

11. Please include artist, song, and anime with the submission so I can enter the info correctly ^^ If you don't know, just give your best guess o.0

Now all we need is to agree on some type of transition between the clips. If you guys want wallpapers I'll have wallpapers done, if you want channel changing I can do channel changing, if you want a 'map' drawn to each AMV (like in the Indiana Jones movie where a red line was drawn to the countries) then let me know so I can get someone to do that.

I have no talent in that area, I'm just being the gracious host, because apparently if I don't host this, no one will. But it wasn't actually my idea, it was Addy's idea (if you want to ask him, he'll tell you the story behind it)
I'm just coordinating the project and putting it all together when we're done

so our 'lost AMV's' won't be lost forever....

and hopefully this will also inspire people to complete them ^^

Now i have a weird question...
I have some videos i never completed from my anime overload amv series. If you never seen one, each episode is like a collection of video segments put together to fit a theme.
Would it be okay to send in some of the segments?
The segment actually is completed but the whole video its part of was never finished
