Paper Amv Project!

heres an idea i've been bouceing around forever using anime stills or print outs.
Physically cutting the charcters out and placing them in other shows
and interacting with each other. In this way almost any show could be used
also charcters can be crumbled up or burned etc for humorous effect.
Only problem is the amount of man power involved cuase it's practically
stock motion. What do you think sirs?

Hmmmm. . .sounds interesting. I had been throwing around the idea of doing a similar vid (though not exactly. It was going to be like some weird trip mashing together stuff from a few different animes in a similar fashion minus the paper properties aspect) But this sounds kinda cool. *^_^*

I've had somewhat similar thought for a project before. After thinking about it I realized it'd probably be best if the project head provided the background and then let members do the cutouts. Do something like start out in a room then cut to a street scene where you pan down the street. Zoom up into the sky and eventualy pull the camera into space. Then post that background video and ask people to do cut outs of things like Kiki flying through the sky, Vash and Spike face off in the street, etc.

Then I decided it's be a massive amount of work, the number of people who can effectively do cut-outs is rather small, and in the end the thing would bascially look like The Race. So I've never bothered.
