Which anime series would you think on using? Would it be something like an interconnected mass of existing AMVs? (I did a pretty good one for the Brave Sir Robin song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRHVfRH2rYM - this forum sure makes it embarrassing to link to anything from Y**tube, doesn't it?)

Yeah, but people do scenes because those are the funny parts.

Has anyone ever done a Python song MEP? Though many of them have been done individually.

OOO!! that would be cool! Holy grail might be difficult to coordinate and make scan, but a Monty Python song MEP might be cool. I would so be in. *^_^* (Though I would probably join a just holy grail one too.)

I'd be interested in this, though songs from Spamalot might work better than the actual audio from the movie.

I don't think I would sit down and *watch* the whole movie as an AMV. An MEP of the music and perhaps some selected other scenes would be quite entertaining though.

While Spamalot undoubtedly has good music, I'm going to take a wild guess and say that more people are familiar with the film. I've never seen the musical (though I would love to!) and I don't know how accessible it would be.

I dunno, I'm trying to think of a single part of the movie that wasn't funny - I might need to watch the thing again just to make sure, but I don't really think this idea is too far-fetched.

suprsing replies. If i was to put everything together and make one massive movie out of it, this is how i would set it up.

1. divide out scenes
2. pick any anime to use for that scene
3. upload the finished scene to the server
4. combine the scenes into 1 movie

the problem i was suggested to me when i 1st brought this up years ago, is consistancy. mainly the quality of the anime used and quality of the voice. IMHO, the quality of the anime isnt 100% important because the orginal movie was very crappy quality(as long as the anime isnt all pixilated), it added to the movie.

i have never done a project like this before so i wouldn't know where or how to begin, so any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

if i was to pull off the audio from the remastered: Ultimate definitive final special edition DvD and chop up the 28 scenes (including beginning and end credits).
Here are the list of scenes in order(im going to start working on the audio and a place to host the scenes)

my suggestion would be to pick the scene and inform us of what anime you want to use. As i said before im open to suggestions and advice from the community, othen then the basic logistics, im not sure how to begin
