problem using AviSynth on Vista

ok, i just got a new vista computer and am pretty thrilled about it. installed my primiere pro 2.0 on it and trying to get the AMVAPPs on it as well. However, when i try and open something with avisynth (making a notbook file and adding .avs to the end of it in place of .txt) and try and play it i get a message saying

The procedure entry point RunDIIW could not be located in the dynamic link library mxdxm.ocx.

The same message pops up when i try and play mplayer2.exe

anyone know what's going on?

well i fixed the problem by opening the .avs file in another media player so now i can load it onto virualdub, but im still trying to figure out what mplayer2.exe isnt working

Mplayer2 doesnt work in vista.
