What if you kill vmToon, put FastLineDarken back in like you had it originally, and then also comment out SSXSharpen?
SSXSharpen calls the XSharpen function, which is found in the WarpSharp plugin, which is known to break autoloading (you can't leave it in the default AVISynth plugins directory, because if you do, you'll get things like VirtualDub(/Mod) crashing any time you try to open a script). So that might have something to do with it.
Oh, and I cannot believe nobody said this sooner, but
<b>THIS IS AVISYNTH!!!</b>
THIS IS MADNESS!

THEN WE SHALL FIGHT IN THE DARK
Actually, me and Ghet have been playing with the posty subjects... IN HELL!!!
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

the problem is, virtualdubmod crashes when i open the program, it doesn't even show the UI - even after i removed vmtoonScintilla wrote:g (you can't leave it in the default AVISynth plugins directory, because if you do, you'll get things like VirtualDub(/Mod) crashing any time you try to open a script).
Lantis assumed its a doubly-defining function, so i was going to check the filters one by one to see what else defines it, but i dont know where to start...

There is the possibility that the problem is in vdubmod. Try opening the script in MPC, or in AvsP
