Issues all around

Post by EternalIceStorm » Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:20 pm

Well, this started around the time the Negi MEP went inactive. After I had dropped from it, I waited a couple of weeks before decided to make my beta into a full video, mainly because of the fact I needed think about the whole song and what scenes to use. Once I tried to edit it again, I started having major issues. .avs wouldn't load anywhere, premiere wouldn't import it and the ones that were already in wouldn't play. I uninstalled and reinstalled AMVapp (even though I know I shouldn't have) to see if that would at least fix the .avs loading problem and that did not even work. Finally, I said screw it and formatted my computer. Now, here I am, freshly formatted computer. Premiere, after effects, photoshop, and particle illusion installed along with AMVapp, I try to use the .avs and again I'm having the same problem. Premiere says it's a unsupported format or damaged file, and when I try to run the .avs in windows media player, it's saying it's ran out of memory. Does anyone know what's wrong? I really don't want to stop making AMVs for good. ;.;

Erm..okay there's no edit button. Just realized I forgot to say that it still said it ran out of memory when I tried playing the .avs again when I put in that command.

Let's see if something simple runs out of memory too: create a new script with just "ColorBars()" and try to play that.

Okay, for some reason now my .avs are working perfectly now. It was like, after I tried the colorbars, I went back and put in the script line for my .avs for one of the episodes I ripped, and it worked fine. o.o
