AVI Trouble

Post by Another Shauna Video » Wed Jun 04, 2008 10:38 am

Could use some help. A friend has been making videos and uses Vegas 5.0. When she makes her videos and then renders them in AVI they suddenly become pixilated and horrible looking.

Does anyone know what went wrong here?

Well she is probably trying to render with default settings which most likely include some in-program compression. Tell her to export as uncompressed and compress it after with vdub and/or zarx264gui+avisynth or something.

Thanks I'll tell her that and see how it goes.

Macroblocking is often caused by DIvX or Xvid footage.

That was attempted and the only thing that happened was a 30 times larger pixeled video.
