Ghosting.

Hi, I was wonder is there a plugin to create ghosting cause I'm pretty sure i read it somewhere.

what editor are you using? - because you can just simulate ghosting by simply overlaying a clip with another version of itself with its properties slightly altered(low opacity + blur)

i think I've only heard of ghosting being caused by a side effect of deinterlcing with avisynth filters

I'm using Sony Vegas atm, and yeah it has to do with telecide or something ...... :book:

There is an actual effect which would be correct to refer as Ghosting, and not caused by IVTC/deinterlacing issues. I actually used such an effect in one of my own videos, and all it took was dragging it over from Premiere's effects bin.

I don't know about Vegas, though. It may not be labeled Ghosting, but something like 'Afterimage' or 'Image Trails' or something similar.

Blending is what happens when you deinterlace your footage by blending both fields together...

Ghosting is a video effect that is created using overlays, lowered opacity, and timing.
