Looping of footage in VirtualDub

Post by Kumorigoe » Sat Jan 31, 2009 6:27 pm

I'm trying to rip the .vob from a FMA dics containing the clean OD and ED for use in a vid. However, the video loops the whole way through. It's something like this:

AAAAAA
AAAAAB
AAAABB
AAABBB
AABBBB
ABBBBB
BBBBBB
BBBBBC
BBBBCC

Ok, reading about it now, it does seem like a video angle issue.
AFAIK you have to rip the correct chapters in IFO mode to fix the problem, but since I never had to deal with the issue myself, you might want to wait for someone to confirm.

Given that FMA's a FUNi title, I expect an angle issue is what it is. SmartRipper lists the angles in each program chain, and you have to select only the one you want; I don't remember what DVD Decrypter does, but it's probably something similar.

you can just open Dvd Decypter and choose File mode i believe. And it will rip all the .vobs and you will find the clean ending/intro video for FMA. That's how i do it.
