Re: New Premiere/AE Avisynth plugin, need testers
I wish I looked at this thread. cause I just happened to get all of CS4 and I tried importing a avs file of claymore episode 1 into premiere cs4 and it wouldnt open, so hopefully this new updated plugin exe will work? and question, does anybody famaliar with trying to export your video in premiere. I tried testing in exporting a video as a huffy out of premiere cs4 and it was opening up this adobe encoder program and it doesnt let me change how the video looks and after i exported it it wouldnt play the video. So i dont really know what is going on. I am so not famaliar with premiere cs4...its like learning a whole new program since the premiere i have been using was the premiere 6.0....which is soo ancient.....and i want to learn premire CS4 if i can get the avs files to be able to open up in CS4.

Best way to export out of Premiere is uncompressed.SacredArrow18 wrote:I wish I looked at this thread. cause I just happened to get all of CS4 and I tried importing a avs file of claymore episode 1 into premiere cs4 and it wouldnt open, so hopefully this new updated plugin exe will work? and question, does anybody famaliar with trying to export your video in premiere. Huffyuv is not uncompressed. It's a lossless compression, but it does cut down the filesize by a fair bit. Uncompressed means when you export it with no codec at all, which means selecting 'None' for the codec, the very last choice in the drop-down menu.SacredArrow18 wrote:Yes I know that, but dont u have to export it has a huffy though while being uncompressed?Soup wrote:Best way to export out of Premiere is uncompressed.SacredArrow18 wrote:I wish I looked at this thread. cause I just happened to get all of CS4 and I tried importing a avs file of claymore episode 1 into premiere cs4 and it wouldnt open, so hopefully this new updated plugin exe will work? and question, does anybody famaliar with trying to export your video in premiere. HuffYUV files are really not meant to be played back. If you can open the video in, say, VirtualDub(/Mod) and seek through the video and see it look okay there, then you're good.SacredArrow18 wrote:I...and after i exported it it wouldnt play the video.

I'll also add to this that the haali splitter doesn't really handle well huffyuv/lagarith playback for god knows which reason. <.<Scintilla wrote:HuffYUV files are really not meant to be played back. But yes, just like Scintilla said, it's not like they're meant for playback to begin with.
