Deinterlacing

Ok... I'm trying to figure out which method to use to deinterlace Haruhi Suzumiya NTSC.

I'm not sure if it's telecine, pure, or hybrid. I read the guides but I still don't get it.

Can somebody who knows, tell me what kind of interlacing Haruhi is?

I know there is a way to tell, but when I'm deinterlacing, I'll go through each of those and see which one works the best. Sure, it wastes time, but it works.

Prolly what I'm gonna do.

But if anybody has a script that they used to deinterlace Haruhi could they post it?
