Both

and

plug-ins fails to open video if the path contains non-ASCII characters (cyrillic, for example). Any ideas how to fix it?
PS: Media Player Classic opens the same .avs'es without any problem.

Non-ASCII characters are REALLY hit or miss in avisynth. I'm not sure about cirillic, but I know for a fact that kanji and kana are lost causes. They would fail in dgindex too, for example. Just rename the file and you'll be good.

i wanted to try it out importing avs works, but now exporting isn't working for me it keeps saying that source files don't exist huh?
Source File: D:\DOCUME~1\Misiek\USTAWI~1\Temp\res.prproj
- Output File: I:\mep\Sequence 02.avi
- Preset Used: Custom
- Video:
- Audio:
- Bitrate:
- Encoding Time: 24:58:26
2010-02-24 19:42:46 : Encoding Failed

Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted.

Checked temp and indeed it isn't here.
maybe issue with names? but how to change temp folder or displaying that stuff?

Okay i'm blind. D: There is pprj in temp it seems that it can't handle long names for me, even thought it displays it normally in most programs >_> (winxp btw) tho when creating one with the same name (DOCUME~1) it says that folder exist. >_>"
