Virtualdubmod keeps crashing

Rightio, so i copied the dvd onto the pc using dvd decrypter and then converted it to d2v with DVD2AVI. Then using a script in AviSynth i opened it into Virtualdubmod. And after a few movements on the timeline VDM just crashes. Also when its imported there's a green bar on the left hand side of the image.

Any idea of what the problem could be?

anyways, i doubt it's a script error, cause vdub would probably just tell you what line of your script has a mistake.
it could be your dv2. make a new one, but don't use dvd2avi. use dgindex.

dvd2avi was quite buggy, and nobody uses it anymore. dgindex is included in amvapp
