I finally fixed it. Ironically, what ended up working was reinstalling the original HuffyUV codec that came with the AMVapp. It didn't have to do with those codec packs after all.

Finally, my video has color again. xD

Why are you using separate huffyuv anyway? In case I didn't make it clear enough, THE FFMPEG IMPLEMENTATION OF HUFFYUV IS THE BEST ONE AROUND SO STOP USING OTHERS. Also not a big deal but correct capitalisation is HuffYUV, it's short for Huffman YUV.

Even if the other version is better, it makes my clips in Sony Vegas blue, so it doesn't really help me much. I'm mostly concerned with getting my videos to show up correctly in Sony Vegas so I can edit with them.

Several times I checked, the ffdshow encoder did not even appear in certain versions of premiere when trying to encode. So it has (or previously had) bugs in that regard

That sounds more like dshow being dumb anyway, but the bigger question is why do you even need it? UTVideo and Lagarith both shit on every form of huffy I can think of as far as compression goes. If you need speed, there are better options as well. I can't think of any good reason to use huffy.

@Chaosbunny12: the other version doesn't make your clips blue, some stupid VFW conflict or something is what's doing that. If you stopped mixing and matching codecs you wouldn't have any problems.
