Not until the "beta" is gone from its URL, it's not.Krisqo wrote:It already is the new guide.Scintilla wrote:/me can't wait for EADFAG mk III to become standard so that people won't see mfToon/vmToon as the first recommendation for sharpening and line enhancement and maybe so many people won't keep having this problem.

I've dumped mftoon and never looked back. The results I get with FastLineDarken() and aWarpSharp() or LimitedSharpenFaster() are very similar (and if I take the time to tweak settings, almost indistinguishable), but the rendering speed is much faster.
If you use FastLineDarken() and aWarpSharp() together you'll probably want to set FastLineDarken's thinning parameter to 0.
Using FastLineDarken(strength=50, thinning=0) with aWarpSharp(depth=8) may give you better results since aWarpSharp() at the default settings (depth=16) can make some lines look weird.
If you use FastLineDarken() and aWarpSharp() together you'll probably want to set FastLineDarken's thinning parameter to 0.
Code: Select all
FastLineDarken(strength=90, thinning=0)
aWarpSharp()

I would suggest warpsharp over awarpsharp. It's too strong and inconsistant. Before I joined, my group released Mamotte Shugogetten and one of the filters was awarpsharp and it killed the opening (hardsubbed Japanese karaoke which was common in the 90s). The text would change thickness as things changed in the OP (eg. a character moving across the screen)
