Do you need Media Player 6.4 for AVIsynth?

So are you saying that i won't be able to know if AVS is working or not?

Because even when i manually put an AVS file into Windows Media Player, it says It can't read the file...

latest WMP won't play avs and the tests don't work on vista, but AVS will usually run properly.

Should VLC be able to play AVS files, because whenever i open VLC and open the colorbars.avs file nothing plays/happens...
