VHS capture Scratch Removal?

Does anyone know of a good avisynth filter that eliminates scratches from captured VHS footage? Horizontal and Vertical scratches? What's the best one in your opinion? I'm willing to try several.

I've used RemoveDirt on film spots and scratches before, I'm not sure how it would handle VHS style scratches though.
