need help

need help

i've started working on a "colorspace" script and windows media player, wont fugging play it.

it says its got some error that its not on the format list, i looked at the format list and it isnt actually there

i am using the latest windows media player, is there anything else i can use or should i just ignore it for the time being...?

If you don't post the script and the error, only a psychic can help you. That's a pretty generic problem description, and what the hell is a "colorspace script"? Most of the times I make a script, I eventually have to change colorspace, but there's seven or eight other commands that can go wrong.

thats the whole thing and it wont play on windows media player...
Colorbars(720,480)
says the file isnt registered as type that windows media player will not play.

Do you actually have AVISynth installed? If so, did you remember to save the script with the .AVS extension?

yep.

it works with a tenchi muyo video i did with it, just doesnt work for the color thing

when i first started working with avisynth i couldn't get the color bars to work... i just ignored that fact and moved on to filtering which amazingly did work @_@

Can you open the Colorbars script in VirtualDubMod?

If so, I would suggest tacking on the line <b>ConvertToRGB32()</b> at the end and trying it again in WMP (I don't know what colorspace the Colorbars command gives you).
