green flickering bar

it flickers like 10 times per second, only when i add

telecide(1)
decimate(5)

to my script

using virtualdubmod 1.5.10.2 on vista.

Looks like a YV12 decoder (XviD?) problem.

are you using version 2.57 of AVISynth? If so, try changing back to ver 2.56 - it helped me with my 'green bar from hell' issue a while back (an a lot of searching around here, too...)
