I've been having this problem for a little while now. At first I thought it may have just been a small glitch in Adobe Premiere Pro 2, but now it appears to be a constant issue. After a certain amount of time working with my AVS files, eventually a few of them will appear black when I scrub through them. Sometimes this happens with just 1 of the AVS files I'm working with, sometimes this happens with all of them.
I WOULD just use lagarith lossless, but due to harddrive space restrictions at the moment, I'm being forced to use AVS files. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do to fix this?

you aren't making any changes to the avs scripts while you're using them in premiere are you?
if you do need to make changes, you should unlink the avs scripts, make the changes and then re-link
not sure if it's related, but using setmemorymax() might help
IIRC the default is really low (something around 6 or 8), so raising it might help
