are you sure you ripped it right? ( many errors happened to me when I ripped RizelMine for AMV's back then ) [ seem's it was in Film Mode and I ripped-it PAL.

just a thought 8-) [ PFR35a2.vdf works quite well in VD ^__^ ]

.vdf literally stands for "videodub filter." Doing a google search for that file will likely yeild a link to download it from. Then yousimply go into vdub or vdubmod, go to filters, go to load, and load your vdf file, select it, apply it, see the results.

.. or go to the Avisynch Filters page and look up PFR ( Pal Filter Reconstructer ) and skip VirtualDub all together 8-)

The only PFR I see there is Progressive Frame Restorer, and the file doesn't have the same name as the one you gave above.

Is it still the same filter, though?

You might try Restore24:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75432

However, seems to me that the only way to remove blends completely, is to do a full framerate deinterlacing to 50 fps, locate all the blends, replace them with a non-blended frame on either side, and get rid of any duplicate or triplicate frames, and end up with 23.976 progressive.
