mkv + vdub + avisynth = Frame rate error?

Post by ForeverZeroo » Sat Mar 01, 2008 12:27 pm

I cant open the mkv in vdubmod.
it'll say: "Only Handle [S_TEXT/] subs for the moment"

If someone can tell me how to get past that that would be helpful. But i can only think avisynth.

When i put it in avisynth with the following code:
#ASYNTHER Default (Source)
DirectShowSource(" File Name ")

Ive also tried AVIsource.
ill get the error

"Avisynth open failure.
DirectShowSource: I Can't Determine the frame rate of the video,
you must use the "FPS" Parameter."

I know its fixable....im just lacking in that department.
help please?

if you haven't figured this out already... at the frame rate to the end like so

Code: Select all

DirectShowSource("C:\AMVExport\yourDVexport.avi",29.97)

yea because that will change the frame rate, look up the properties of the mkv file and see if the frame rate is listed

Code: Select all

Directshowsource("file.mkv", fps=23.976, convertfps=true)
The convertfps=true assures audio sync, if you need it.
