AVS scripts with Premier Pro 2.0

Post by ccwarnick » Thu Jul 12, 2007 4:30 am

Are .AVS scripts not compatible with premier pro 2.0? When I try and import one (using the swap out method to export my edited video) it gives me a compatibility error.

Is there some sort of plug in I need to install? If anyone knows what the problem or knows where to point me to find out for myself I would appreciate any info.

Thanks in advance.

Actually what I found didn't solve the problem, the info in the AMV app guide state the plugins are for premier pro 1.x, but it is not clear if these work for 2.0

anyone have a link for plug ins for 2.0

AVS files work fine in PP2.0: I'm using them.

Have you installed the plugin in the right folder? I think by default it gets installed in the plain "plugins" folder, but it should actually go into its "us" subfolder.

yeah I think I found out what the problem was, I had installed the AMV app before I installed premier, there was nothing for the app to install the plug ins to.

yeah I just found out about frameserver too, that program is amazing. Premier really (see: REALLY) sucks at exporting stuff. Im amazed at all the little tools that you all have come up with, the end footage after being compressed looks better than the damn dvd does, that just blows my mind.
