Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 qustions

hi there i use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for my amvs
i just have afew things to ask
when i finish the video the video and song quality drops alot when i used movie maker it always came out just as good
second when im playing what ive done so far the play back isnt smoth its not to bad when i start the amv but after about a minute of footage is starts to slow down it could be my computer but i would think its more the fast enough

i do have a few more things but i cant remember them right now

I use Pro 2.0, but I would assume most of its the same. For the first problem, when you're exporting the video, are you compressing the audio or leaving it uncompressed?

For the second (I'm going to wing this since I'm not where I can bring Premiere up) you should right-click the preview window, thats showing the AMV as you make it, and switch the quality from whatever it is to "preview". At least thats what I believe it's supposed to be.

audio is left uncompressed and i changed to dartf quality but that didnt help
