Rendering Lagarith Footage In Adobe Premier Pro 2.0

Post by CodeZTM » Sun Oct 28, 2007 12:15 pm

Ok, I'm FED UP!

I thought I could fix it myself, but I can't....

Ok, here's the situation. I'm trying in import Lagarith Footage into Adobe Premier Pro 2.0. That works. I play it by previewing (without Rendering) and it works just fine. Anytime I try and render it, it refuses and says "render error". Same happens when I try and export the footage as well. I've tried converting the lagarith files into HuffyYUV, but that fails as well and VDUB, Mediacoder and everything else in my arsenal crashes in ten seconds.

Help?

It's probably either a decoding conflict (got anything else that might be trying to handle the Lagarith files?) or a bugged install of the Lagarith codec (tried uninstalling then reinstalling it?).

Just because you reinstalled everything doesn't mean you aren't still using a buggy version of Lagarith, don't still have multiple things trying to decode Lagarith files, or a combination of the 2. And, AFAIK WMM doesn't like Lagarith files anyways, so it wouldn't much matter trying to use them in there.

Dang... I took what you said.

First, I uninstalled Lagarith.

Then, I downloaded the codec.

Then I downgraded to Premier Pro 1.5 (where I did work for me).

Now all is right with the world, hallehjulah.
