Edit with HuffYUV?

When I was going through the tutorial on setting up Premiere, it is using PICVideo MJPEG Codec to edit. While I don't have that codec I was wanting to know if it's bad to edit with HuffYUV since he mentions some codecs that should not be used but doesn't mentioned anything about other codecs that can be used.

Help appreciated.

from what i know huffyuv was made to be edited with... it's like standard around here (either that or lagarith)

Unless you're following some other guide, in which case, which one?

I edit with Huffyuv, and have had no problems using Pro 2.0

I edit with fake AVI files created with VFAPICov using Premier 6.5, Pro 1.0, After Effects 6.5(Standard), and Vegas 6.0C.

pro 1.5 handles huffy and lagarith just fine
