After Effects 7.0 : Track Motion?

After Effects 7.0 : Track Motion?
Well...a couple days ago i decided to download AE 7 Trial,and ive learned alot of basic things on it,but now im trying to figure out how to use/if their is..trackmotion?,Thats what the feature is named on Vegas,im not sure about AE,its like..adding borders to masks.Can anyone help me out with this?

I think what you're looking for is called the Stroke effect. Track motion has a different meaning in After Effects, it's a tool that actually will track the position of a point so you can apply that same motion to another layer.
