Loading AMV Hell (.mp4) into Premiere Pro

Post by SrgtWilco » Fri Dec 28, 2007 9:44 pm

I'm trying to do a "best of" compilation of all six AMV Hells, but the video files I've downloaded don't seem to cooperate with Premiere. Four is in .mp4 format, and after using the directshowsource plugin as doom9 suggested, VirtualDub is spitting it out nonetheless. Loading three (an AVI file) into premiere directly is disastrous. If anyone here has experience working with the files, can point out what I'm doing wrong, or can provide more workable files, I'd appreciate it.

For the avi, import them in avs too with avisource. Strange, but that works. For the mp4, use ffmepgsource instead of directshowsource.
For the ffmpegsource, go here.
This might work. ...I hope.

Thanks - seems to work.
