Image Software for OSX

I'm an old frequenter of Photoshop, but since then, I've jumped on the Mac train. I'm loving it, but was wondering what image software I could buy that compares or is even better

Adobe does have Mac versions for most of their products. CS3 is available for Mac. There is some shareware applications for Mac that are good. The one I have in mind is Pixelmator, which is a GPU powered image editor. I have have it and I like it, is easy to use. The only real problem with it is that there are no keyboard shortcuts. Pixelmator is not the only program to use the GPU there is Iris and Acron, I have not used either.
