Adobe Premiere pro effect problem =/

Post by Up In Flamez » Sat Feb 16, 2008 2:29 am

Hey, well i just got adobe premiere pro 2.0 and i was trying out some basic effects. I tried keyframing the invert effect from 0 to 100 and i got some wierd results. This is what it looks like in premiere 6.5 at 60% : Image

and this is what it looks like in premiere pro 2.0 at 60%. ImageBig difference...

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Huh, I've been doing keyframing in 2.0 for the last month, and I never ran into this. What codec are you using for your source?

I'm using the lagarith lossless codec. Whats wierd is that it randomly started happening in 6.5 too. I tried reinstalling both of them but 6.5 only does it randomly while pro 2.0 does it all the time.

Hrm. It might not solve the overall issue, but to get you editing again, try converting the clip to HUFFYUV before editing that sequence. Let's see if perhaps something is choking on lag. Wouldn't be the first time.

Eh, I tried using HuffyUV and uncompressed, it didn't work in 2.0 or 6.5. What's wierd is that the same problem in 6.5 happens everytime i open up the program, but if i go to File > New Project and try it, its fixed. In 2.0 it doesn't work that way =/.

It looks to this noob as if the top image is being displayed in RGB, and the bottom one in YUY.

Nah, both of them were RGB. But i fixed the problem by changing the channel from RGB to YIQ.
