Adobe Premiere Elements 9- auto ripple delete?

Post by Songbird21 » Sun Feb 13, 2011 8:49 pm

I'm having an odd problem with my elements 9. Whenever I cut part off of a clip the timeline automatically moves all clips after it to the left. The distance moved is equal to the size of the section I removed from the clip I'm editing. Is there a way to turn this off? Cause it's really annoying. :?

According to this: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/676268 you just hold down "ctrl" while doing the option. The exact opposite of the way you'd do it in Pro.
