Hey!
Sorry if this has been asked before, I searched the forum but got no results.
I have Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and I'm following A&E's technical guide; it says to select "Video For Windows" in the editing mode, but there IS no video for windows setting when I go through the list!
These are all the settings I see:
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to download something? Is it just under a different name? Help!
No "Video for Windows" in Pro 2.0?

In the original Premiere Pro, those weren't presets (and I'm not convinced that they are now either). The only choices were DV and Video for Windows (AVI).Rapture** wrote:I might be wrong,but... Maybe it's just that ya got somethin' wrong? In fact, I never saw any "Video For Windows" selection in my Premiere Pro. Besides, I think that ya may just use another preset for editing.
I've never used Premiere Pro 2, but from the looks of it, the analogue to VfW mode is probably the "Desktop" mode.

Yeah, I've been using the beta version of Premire Pro CS3.
It's just like the guide, set your resolution, set to 1:1 pixels, DESKTOP, etc etc. Frame rate will be dependent on what you told AVS synth to push out of you stuff... Just be carefull on the exports, it's a little tricky to find the HUFFY or lossless codec outputs...

Annoying, obnoxious and opinionated.
